!The name of this daughter is unknown. The work was done for the name dau Jones
dau was just short word for daughter but was mistakenly done as her name.
Perhaps the work should be redone if her name is found. There was another
daughter whose work was also done as dau Jones. Her name is not known either.
Her birth is recorded abt 1840.
!The other daughter's name was found as Sophia in the 1850 census she was listed as being 20 years old at that time. She is also listed in the History of Remsen New York as a daughter of Robert and Sophia Evans Jones.
This daughter, Jane is listed as a daughter or Robert and Sophia Evans Jones in the History of Remsen New York by Millard F. Roberts but is not listed in the 1850 census therfore she may have been the oldest and left the family before that time as would seem to be the case by the listing order of the children in the History of Remsen New York. The marriage date of Robert and Sophia Evans Jones needs to be more closly researched.
